650whp on PURE600s possible??

recently heard someone on fb saying they were hitting 650whp with PURE600s on E85 with PI at 28-30psi - is this possible? i thought these capped out around 550.

should i consider the PURE600s if wanting to hit around 575-600whp on pump gas + PI + meth with stage3 lpfp + rest of supporting mods. will it be safe for the turbos? how much psi? back pressure an issue? (have external PCV + alum. valve cover)

if anyone has a dyno sheet of the pure600s on pump gas+meth hitting close to 600whp please share, thanks!!

650whp on pure 600's at 30psi? Sounds doable....but I'm sure that puts them way out of their efficiency range and they probably won't last long at all.

For comparison....I have RB TWO's, running at 25psi on an E40 mix and by all calculations and draggy logs....I'm putting down 575-ish to the rear tires.

Honestly, if you want to make 650hp...there are better options than pushing small turbos to 30psi. I would start looking at a good single turbo kit.

thanks for the info on your RBs, not looking to make 650hp was just a bit surprised the PURE600s pushed upto that much.

575-600 is where iam aiming at, prefer twins for less lag and more low end power. RB or Pure is pretty much what iam set on just watching out on forums and FB marketplace incase a good deal for a new comes up again. i missed out on a set PURE s2 hiflows for $2400 and a set of RB GFs $2600 both brand new

Any more than 575 or 600 on the street just burns your tires off sooner.

I don't think so. I was running those at 30psi and it was pushing about 600 and those turbos were tapped out.

Possible but not safe, you'd be running the turbo at maximum capacity all the time and you might have to be very aggressive with timing to reach this whp.

I agree 100%

Are you really getting 575 whp at 25psi on e40 with your RB Twos? That's freaking awesome if you are.. Rob told me that I would be at that on 25 psi with my RB Twos Plus and I'm running full E85. I just got my car back together and getting ready to go through the tuning process. I'd like to be right at 600 whp.

Better off getting larger frame twins or a big single so you don't run them to the ragged edge. Not sure if rob still makes them but he used to have a GF turbo option

He does still offer the GF's. His hp ratings are low for reliability reasons and the RB Twos Plus are rated at 575 so 600 isn't that far off. I also put less than 1k miles a year on my car. You are correct though.. if you want big power the only twins are the RB GF's or a single.
