Who Else is on DON CARLOS? :drumroll:
Who else is on Don Carlos?
It just left Bremerhaven. I have been tracking the ship with all the tools available. I do not have a confirmation yet, but my car finished production on September 01 and has been waiting at the port for more than 4 days. I am having a feeling it is on Don Carlos which left on September 12 and is coming to Port Hueneme. I will check this week with my CA, for a confirmation. Anyone else waiting for the ship?

What tools are you using to track the ship? My car finally made it on the Don Carlos but I'm having the time of my life trying to get an accurate location...although its not like anything I do is going to bring it here any faster
On a separate note, does anyone know how long european delivery cars take to get processed at the VPC? |

Also using Vesseltracker.com 's Google Earth layer as it allows to put things in better perspective . Images are not live (they can be upto 10 years old), data is delayed by about 24 hours for the free version of the kmz layer for Google earth!

I'm on the Don Carlos too!
Although not a 3 Series, my 128i is on the Don Carlos too! My car completed production on 9/2.
Last I checked the ship is just west of Spain is heading directly to Panama. Hopefully, it will reach Port Hueneme before the scheduled 10/6 arrival. I can hardly wait! |

She's navigating the Canal, but sailwx.info doesn't seem to be updating. Here's a MarineTraffic.com link:

Yeah. I managed to grab some HiRes Webcam shots of A WW ship in Panama Canal, now I do not know if in fact it was DON Carlos. I will post them if anyone is interested. All of those ships look the same to me from the front. Thanks for sharing that video, I am yet to watch it, but looks interesting.

Talked to my CA today and he said car can take 1 day to 10 days at VPC. Did not have an estimate yet, when it will be ready for pickup. My dealer is located less than an hour from Port Heuneme. I believe your estimated delivery date is for the dealership to get the car. Then he may detail it or so, before he gives you a call Good news is, there is little to no delay at VPC.

How were you able to find this out? I'm going crazy waiting for my car!!! The E.H.Harms site is doesn't show anything regarding customs clearance and the BMW phone line says still in transit...I'm dreading the infamous "customs hold."
