I don't think anyone here is pushing for a ready to ship product announcement type of update. If they are in fact waiting for parts, how hard is it for them to say it?!!!! I don't think the folks here are having unreasonable expectations. A little communication couldn't hurt.

But to get back on subject...

If you want to make it so that the wastegate rattle fix is active immediately upon start-up and before the oil temp is warm, here's what you do:

Using Procede User Interface v5.2 go to Digital Outputs --> Advance Parameters 1 --> Entry #8. You will see the number "27.0588" in that entry. This tells the Procede to stay in 100% pass thru mode (stock wastegate DC%) until oil is up to temp. Now all you need to do is put 0 in that box and hit "APPLY". From that point one, the rattle fix will ignore the oil temp conditional.

There is really no downside to this other than the fact that your tune will be active right upon start-up. It will not be pass-thru/stock tune. However, boost will still be lowered and will gradually ramp up to full boost by the usual 170F or so. So go ahead and make the change

Cheers,
shiv

PS. Thanks for the heads up Big Tom. I finally got a few moments this afternoon to get caught up on the internets

I *coughed* in the M3 thread and i guess they heard something bout N55 i dunno... but here's the response from Shiv today...

"lol... the meth kit for the n55 is done. Just in the process of accumulating the parts and writing instructions/docs. Much easier task than before since the installation instructions are 99% the same as the n54 kit. Once we have everything in order, we will roll forward "
