You just put the key in the ignition, insert the cable and select the map on the handheld Cobb. It's best to update the Cobb software first in your pc, that just requires downloading their program and connecting to your pc with a USB cable.

In terms of the warranty I've also got a 4 year extended warranty. No worries though as you can uninstall the Cobb in 2 mins. Once uninstalled your car is back to stock DME settings.

I've got a BMS charge pipe I just installed a few weeks ago.
+1

Agree on everything said here about Cobb. It doesn't get any easier to install/uninstall and there are plenty of pro tuning options out there. I also have the extended warranty so I didn't want to get my hands dirty with the piggy backs.

Ah that's for e92. I was having a hard time finding the PE for the '11 sedan on eBay.

I emailed that dealer about the sedan version. I'll post the response. I believe I've heard others say they fitted the e92 version on their e90 and the only difference is that the tips stock out a little more.

I just bought mine from Tischer BMW. 1,243.00 shipped for 2011 sedan with n55.

OP, thanks for the video, the sound is amazing! Do you have any other mods besides AFE intake and PE? I love the gurgle and turbo whistle. I have AFE and waiting for my PE to get here. Hoping to get the same sounds. I also have PPK but I don't know if your Cobb plays a big role in gurgle/pop whistle...

That's right, it's just a bolt on. Comes with the clamps. My cousin actually installed it for me in about 30 minutes.

You know the Cobb has certainly added more umphhhh than the PPK. But the exhaust sounded just about the same I think with the PPK. I actually think the Alpina transmission flash might be increasing the burble sound just because it holds hears into higher revs. I did also just add a new charge pipe from BMS, but haven't notice any change in the sound from that. The aFe was already super loud without that as you probably know😉

do you have to cut pipes on the stock exhaust to do the PE? Never really dug under any of my 335's to see if that was the case/

Yes when you install performance mufflers you cut them off and install the new ones using slip couplers; so easily reversible.

Hi there

In the car I noticed little or no difference from the stock exhaust to be honest.

I went from a ZHP to a 335i. I heard your video and was like "Oh. That's what my ZHP sounded like again, and why I loved it so much. Immediate next mod." It makes like. So much sense I can't even tell you hahaha
