The little bit of stretch is still present with the PSS, though the wheel protector on the sidewall does allow for a little more wheel protection even when using a smaller tire. The PSS has a slightly larger sidewall, but that does not mean that it fits like a full tire size larger. I should have asked this earlier - do you recommend 265/35/18 over 255/35/18 for a rear 18x9.5" ET35 ARC-8 wheel?

We normally would, but on an LCI e90 you do not have the sufficient clearance to fit that tire without heavily rolling the rear fenders, and possibly pulling it.

I also have a fitment question. I have an LCI base model suspension height.

My current setup:
17x8 et34 225/45 square

What I hope to have:
18x8.5 et38 245/40 or 225/40
18x10 et43 275/35 or 275/40 (also a 5mm spacer, maybe).

Would this setup work without fender rolling? And if possible would i be able to have the sidewalk height at 40 for both front and rear?

Thanks David. A follow-up question: I believe many aftermarket vendors would suggest 265/30 for 19" in the rear of E90 LCI, which has diameter 25.26. I do notice PSS is not always recommended due to larger sidewall and possible rubbing. Since the diameter of 265/35/18 is only .04 greater, why the discrepancy in recommendations? I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND if as a vendor you don't want to recommend a setup that could rub. As you know, I plan to roll the fenders, not sure how much until I get the wheels.

Like most here, I would like an aggressive look in the back. Could you comment on the difference in aggressiveness & look between 265/35/18 and 255/35/18 on the rear of an E90 LCI, maybe pointing me to pictures or common sense I would imagine the wheel being 9.5 instead of my current stock 8.5 will look much more aggressive, even if I put 255s on the 9.5??

Perhaps slight poke from lower offset (but same concavity as the et 35 ARC-8) is what makes the real difference in look? But that might require even more fender mod...

I was wonder if 18x10 et 25 rear (e90 m3 fitment)
And 18x9.5 front (fitment from e46 m3) would be able to fit on my car e92 335 pre lci.

The 18x9.5" ET35 will require at least a 5mm spacer and -2.5 degrees of camber, which means you'd need camber plates to fit them in the front of your e92 335i. The rears will require a heavy fender roll along with an undersized tire of 265/35/18 in order to fit on the rear of your 2007 335i unless you want to pull the rear fenders. Though it can be done, it is not an ideal setup for your car.

i was also thinking of going with this set up. could i fit a 255/35/18 mich pss tire on the front with a 18x9.5 wheel ( i currently have that in the back). With rolled fenders and some negative camber in the back, would it be possible to run a wider tire than 265/35 in back with a a 18x10 or 18x10.5 arc 8 wheel? thanks

A 265/35/18 street tire with the 18x10" ET25 ARC-8 will definitely require fender rolling and some negative camber to fit, but it can be done. It will come down to your actual ride height, and your tire's make and model, but it'll be very close and would be a case by case scenario as to whether or not it'll clear.

Hey! Trying to find the most aggressive and concave wheel set up for the apex EC-7 19” for my e92 335i. I seen some on the e92 m3 and they are super nice looking wheels when the aggression is there imo. On the m3 the guy was rocking 19x9.5 et22 19x10.5 et22 and it looked so good! I know the m3 has wider body then non m so I need help finding this fitment but for a non m! I don’t want 18 because I feel they are to small looking and not aggressive enough. Thanks!!
