First and last time I go there. This is why I usually wash my car by myself and never let anyone touch it. Now I have to get it detailed again
There's a really good one near Carnegie that I always go to.

Easy peesy. The Caravan is a tonne below the max capacity. it was towed for about 1,500 kms altogether nice and easily.

Although some other motorists seems to get the sh1ts with being overtaken by a car towing a caravan along the way.

Just ordered new rubber. Bridgestone has a 4 for 3 deal. Also used up a commonwealth credit card offer for spend 500, get 250 credit. Technically got all 4 for $520 fitted and balanced. Re003 rear and s001 fronts (don't make 225 35 19 in re003) .

I know s001 have poor mileage and not as good as mpss but at this price I can't really complain.

It was actually yesterday that after having my RVO upgraded transmission thump into drive and thump downshifting from 5th to 4th and 2nd to 1st ever since I installed it, I had the transmission adaptations reset following discussion with David Robinson (RVO). What a difference this made. No more thumping between gears or into drive and the shifts now operate like a standard transmission. A pleasure to drive again. It would have been nice to have had this done after the installation instead of 11months later. I guess good things come to those who wait. Probably a lesson for others is if you are experiencing unusual shifting with your transmission, it maybe worth getting your adaptations reset.

Going to order new rubber in a fortnight time. Such a vast price difference between suburbs. Continental 5p are my current favourite and falken 453 are second on the list.

Where did you take it bro? 95% of hand car wash places are filthy in terms of sponges and they wipe the cloth all over the car up and down instead of starting from the roof and bringing the dirt downwards. Final finish is the only car wash I go to where I can turn my back and enjoy my coffee without having to watch my car getting washed. Your damage is fixable. Just more money

have a look into the S001 mate, I know they aren't rated as highly as the Conti or Michelin, but they are whole lot cheaper with the current offer. I love them so far (...compared to my 8 year old MPSS..)

Visited Yoda motorsports in dagobah(melb) for a subframe bush fix.

For those with a half decent tune these are a must have. The rear end elastic band loading and unloading feeling under power has disappeared. Also, don't waste your time on the subframe bush inserts..

Thanks again to Vince

Installed an overflow bottle for my powersteering reservior. The fluid has a tendancy to slosh out, even after replacing the oring in the cap. This happens during hard driving, got it mainly for track days, although it will still slosh out even during street driving.

Here's the mod here if anyone is interested.

Washed it with some cheapo $7 turtle wash I got from Kmart years ago...

Came out ok for something that's almost 10 years old and has never being properly detailed...
