WANTED to buy - E92 335D

Folks,

I have been watching and reading for the past couple of weeks, and will be in a position to buy an E92 335D in the next 4-6 weeks.

I am a serious buyer and travelling is no problem.

Desired spec is
335d coupe
low(ish) miles, not too fussy but no 60k milers etc
black paint, any interior colour apart from the greys.
SE / Msport all considered
must have the Pro nav/idrive

Really just hoping to see if any enthusiasts cars are coming up in my timescale (4-6 weeks), and if we can work something out if you may be thinking of selling. I am not a trader. I would like a car with some of the nice have mods, like remap.

J

There's a nice 335i on here at the moment.

Why are you going for the 335d?

Thats a good question

I am probably going to be using it for a lot of trips to London, so the economy is nice, as is the attraction of the big torque.

Have not done the cost difference vs mpg but maybe diesel has better resale?

Not interested in manual either as my other half has to drive it. If I wanted a manual, I would obviously have to go 335i.

Also for some reason feel attracted to something that reads so wrong on paper, a fast diesel

lol, one careful owner. His posts on Pistonheads dont really help the 335d cause, and its almost impossible to find anything on there using the search function that isnt complete baws as a result of his "335d is the fastest car in the world evAr".

I never said that though. I just said a stock 335i and 335d are on par with each other on acceleration from a roll..

They didnt want to Believe.. Not my fault they are al hounds with no life and cannto accept diesel technolodgy (Bmw diesel technology) had moved the game on.

Ive already lined up a potential Buyer when i do decide to sell... a neighBour, who actually Bought my last Bmw and had no proBs..

Oh and welcome By the way.

Testdrive at local dealer went well and 335d hunt is firmly on - I am carless as of next week so if anyone is thinking of selling or wanting an easy sale drop me a line.

I am between Glasgow and London a few times in the next 3-4 weeks so distance no problem.

Thanks chaps
