Can I still play music with it if my car on has the aux? mine doesn't have the USB part.

I'm almost positive the answer is yes but you would have to control song selection from the iPod. The USB part allows playlists and song selection to be controlled with the radio buttons and steering wheel buttons.

I need one of these as mine was stolen from my car over the weekend, but this looks slightly different. The cable that I had looked like the one in this pic: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...highlight=ipod

Can you confirm that this will work properly in the 2008 model?

Any chance if this would allow steering controls, as far as skipping, and volume? Also, how it works with bluetooth...

Not sure if this would work on a 2008 or not but the cable that came with my car (2009) looked like the one you posted also.

If your car has the USB port next to the aux input that's the functionality it provides. Bluetooth and this connection work separately and do not interfere with each other.

BUMP!
