2017 Map Update success

Just did the 2017 map update on my 2011 335xi. Premium navigation version I had was from 2010, nice to have an update. Got the USBs and FSC code from Bimmer America, fast shipping ( I think two or three days) and a breeze to install. Took about an hour total.

Thanks for this.

Was looking into upgrading my maps (2011) as well. Bunch of new roads, highways, and closed/no-go zones popped up over here during the last 6 years. Gotta love it when your car thinks you're off roading, in a river etc.

What was that direct URL again? It didn't open properly for me.

Thanks,

D

Haha yeah one up in upstate NY it kept telling me to turn around because there was no road, yet there was.

Here's the link (for some reason the links keep getting broken, just replace the dot)

Ok they still aren't working
Try this (without the spaces and replacing the dot)
bimmer america dot com
Go to the coding/navigation at the top, then the 2017 update

I ordered mine from Bimmer America on June 14, received the four thumb drives and FSC code on June 17, apprehensively installed it this morning (June 18) and it took a little over an hour. The apprehension was uncalled for; the installation was straighforward. The package came with a self-addressed, prepaid postage envelope for return of the thumb drives. I had the original maps from 2008.

Not positive but I think it's only one time use because you provide your VIN number to get the access code.

The VIN is for the FSC, the map data is all the same.
