does this tire look brand new to you?

saw on ebay, great price...

but seller claims they are brand new, came off a x5M before the car was delivered

I think this tire got few miles on it.

whats your opinion ?

Dueller's suck - my fronts cupped super bad on my E70 after 6k miles, the bridgestones RFT's are the cheapest for a reason, everyones hates them on E9x's also - get some Michelin's - they are sooooo much better and worth the extra money!

Left one newer than the right one.
Look carefully, the tire on the right is missing those colored lines which r visible on left tire.

Used. You can tell by the drawing that's on the tire. There is none on the tire but in there is in the grooves. My tires where like that when I bought my car, and 2 weeks later switched them out for better ones.

Looks suspicious to me. How can they be takeoffs from a pre-delivery X5M when one pic shows the tread pattern of 2 Bridgestone Potenza RE050s and the other is the side profile of a Dueler H/P? I don't seem to recall BMW marketing their M cars with two different sets of tires.

I stand corrected. Didn't notice the groove in the center tread block. The H/P has the groove; the RE does not.
