177 mate, it is an expensive upgrade but I thought for the chance that insurance would like to check the car or for the ease of resale I'd purchase something I can whip off in a couple minutes, well worth it

Overall very happy with the box, took 5 mins to fit, even managed to find the boost connector fairly easily!

Going to try map 2 tonight and 3 tomorrow and see which I prefer, also got the pedal box to fit soon as well
Sounds like the CRD-T with boost control.

ITS IN!

Only took me two weeks to get around to it, but i finally installed it earlier today. System went in really easily, took me no more than 15 minutes. Given the reviews already in this thread i set it to map 3 (no +/- yet) and took it for a quick spin. Difference was immediately noticed!

Only went around our block and came back (had the family over for Sunday dinner), so i will give it a bit more of a go tomorrow on the way in to work.

The extra power will definitely have me being a bit more cautious!

Had anybody had issues with DTUK box?

I am having issues with my box.

I opted for 30% boost on map three and following happened
1- Drive train malfunction Error. Power was reduced and following restarting my car it resolved. Actually one of forum member was with me.
2- Engine cut down in the middle of the road and no matter what I did, It did not start.
I keep DTUK termination loop with me which allows me disconnect the box on the other side of harness and insert the loop so car runs without the box but harness stays connected.
So, took the box out and it started instantly.

I put the boost back to 20% however following happened;
3- Few days later, no boost for 1 minute. It automatically resolved.
4- Car gave error 1 again and this time EML stayed on.

So I ran few diagnostic and all of them are related to
a) common rail pressure sensor getting earth/ short circuit.
b) Boost pressure sensor sensing that air duct was disconnect. In other words, false reading.

And DTUK box intersect signals at these points.
Took the box out and car is driving like a dream.

Frequency of error = All of above in approx 3 months and I drive my F10 over the weekend.

So all in all I am not the lucky one to have trouble free box.

Any other forum members having issues?

I have bought it from one of the mate so got all the details / name / payment.
DTUK is not interested to know if it is a used box. They only entertain you if you have purchased directly from them which is fair enough.

Sorry I thought you bought it brand new. Was your mate using it on a Fx series n47 like you?

Seen this before on my friends Astra tdi, he bought a box and had nothing but problems with it, kept going into limp mode with no warning, not good for safe overtaking even put it on the base map but even then it would do it although not as frequent.
As it was second hand like you DTUK didn't want to know, which is bad after sales customer services these days very poor. just because he didn't buy new..

Now has the race chip pro 2 and no issues currently
