Autoweek 2/27/06 Page 4: New Coupe

Two pictures of the coupe. It will not be shown at The Geneva Show. Official photographs of the car will be released a few weeks after the Geneva show. One available motor will be the twin-turbo motor. The Cabrio will be shown at the Paris show (September?). M Coupe should appear a year from now.

The Feb Roundel also stated that the E92 would not debut @ Geneva. The production version of the Z4 Coupes will be revealed.

seriously, i don't know what the big deal is with not showing the pics and/or the car. i'm pretty sure they're done with the whole thing so even if it's not ready for production yet because they're maybe waiting for a signed document to come back, i don't see a reason why they couldn't introduce it, at least.

i think not showing it in geneva is a big marketing mistake on their part...

I got my copy of Autoweek over the weekend and the pics didn't really show anything new (yes more tape). They look exactly like some of the pics that have already been floating around of the car in black, only difference is the car is blue (I wonder if it's not a photoshop job made to look like some new pics)
