335i coupe lease

please help, im really clueless... i have no idea what a pretty good lease deal is... can someone give me some kind of estimated payment...
I want to put a total down including everything $2500.... 15,000 miles a year. 36 months. Im planning to lease one at the end of the month..
would $600 be realistic each month including tax?
also is the 09 335i coupe different then the 08?

My 08 335i Coupe

Base MSRP $41,200
Montego Blue Metallic $550
Coral Red/Black Dakota Leather $0
Dark Burl Walnut wood trim $0
Premium Package $2,650
Sport Package $1,200
Sports leather steering wheel with paddle shifters $100
STEPTRONIC automatic transmission $1,325
Destination & Handling: $825
Total MSRP as Built $47,850

SCRATCH THE TOP......
would i be about to get it for $750 a month including tax..... but nothing down.. 15,000 miles a year... 3 years

You are not going to be able to get $600 a month including taxes on that car unless you got a smoking deal.

On a spreadsheet I made, just to play around with some numbers a week ago here's what I calculated:

MSRP: 49,845
Negotiated Price: 45,135 (Invoice - the AT OC + $500)
Lease Payment: $602.19 (6.25% Texas tax included)

That was an E92 (coupe), 12,000 miles a year, 3 years.

If I change it to 15,000 miles a year, it goes to $630.34.

It also included 7 MSDs in order to lower the money factor (so about $5k out of pocket to begin that you get back at the end of the lease).

ETA: Since the car you've speced is cheaper, I changed the spreadsheet to have these numbers:

MSRP: 47850
Invoice: 43850 (just a guess, I didn't feel like spec'ing it)
Negotiated Price: 43090 (invoice - AT OC + $500)
Lease Payment @ 15,000mi/yr: $597.76

You still have to pony up $5k for the MSDs to get this

Now this means these stars have to align:
- smoking deal (invoice - ATOC + $500 is stupid good)
- actually finding the car you want
- having the center not mark up the MF .00004 like they car

etc.

The $5,000 is a security deposit. It is not a cap cost reduction (down payment).

Just because you're a woman doesn't mean you're a moron. Unless you ARE a moron.

There are MULTIPLE websites that are out there to tell you figure out a lease. If you can't read them and understand them then you should NOT be leasing a vehicle.

sigh. I have a snarky comment to make, but it's too early in the week to be mean. So I'll be blunt but nice.

It will take more than a kiss from you to a) find the car like this and b) get you a $600 a month payment on it and c) only have $2500 out of pocket to get you into the car.

I've been trying to get the dealerships here to make a deal on an 08 coupe and they have been pretty unresponsive. It simply is a demand vs. supply issue. They might have 80+ E90's on the lot. They'll have MAYBE 1 or 2 E92's.

And they're selling them for MSRP, with very little wiggle room. (maybe the AT OC if they are being generous).

The longer you wait, the more this issue is going to come up. And 09's will be more expensive and I'm going to bet that the MF and residuals don't change a lot.

Not sure why you are caught up on a $600 payment. Putting more down or for that matter anything down on a lease is a bad financial move.

Leasing is going to get really expensive soon because of the market conditions and BMW like other auto manufacturers are taking a bath on the current crop of cars coming of leases.

http://www.autoblog.com/2008/08/03/b...-through-2009/

Putting more down you might as well just buy the car out right and finance it if you can get a 0.9% rate from BMW.

$750 might be close. Tax in SF @ 8.5% means the lease pmt itself would have to be right at $700/mth.

But it's just going to be really difficult to find a car in your desired specs at this point in time. They were pretty well picked through with the July special finance rates and Step credit.
