Hi All,

About to pull the trigger on some parts and need some input.

Currently I am MHD Stage 2+ on 93.

I plan on Buying a PS2, Dorch HPFP, Fuel-It LPFP, and a port fuel injection kit to run full e85. I am just curious what injector sizes I need for both my primary and port?

I also have 2 supporting questions:
Do I need a flex fuel sensor to run E85?

Will I be fine with a custom MHD tune?

Thanks

There aren't upgraded DI injectors available and if you're going to run PI then you don't need the Dorch pump. You don't NEED the ethanol sensor but it's nice to have. Yes you'll want a custom tune and you'll be fine.

I don't have PI so someone else will have to chime in on injector size.

Dorch HPFP doesn't fit your car if it is a 2011
I would just get a HPFP and LPFP and run the direct injection.
You don't NEED a sensor but you will want to know what percentage your fuel is assuming you're getting it from the pump.
MHD custom tune is just fine for tuning.

Didn't realize that, are Dorch's only for F30's? If so, what do we normally go with for HPFP's?

From what Ive read I need port injection otherwise I would max out my stock injectors.

I didn't see you had a 2011. Early E-series cars use the same HPFP as the N54 so your options are a Spool Helix or VTT shotgun if you're wanting to stay DI only. And no, you're not going to max out the injectors. If you're getting port injection then you don't need either of them. The reason you would need port injection is because you max out the HPFP, not the injectors, which wouldn't happen with the VTT or Spool units. So it's up to you which of the 3 options you want to go with. I'm currently considering the Spool unit as my HPFP can't keep up even on straight 93 and I didn't really want to do PI
