When did you change the serpentine belt?

I have 113K miles and am still on pretty much original everything under the hood. Belts, hoses, coolant, injectors, harmonic damper, etc. People keep telling me the serpentine belt is a ticking time bomb. But looking at it visually, seems close to new. What has been your experience?

When I asked about the coolant the dealer keeps telling me they tested it and it's fine. While I know others have had difference experiences, this has been the most reliable car we've ever owned. Carbon cleaning and ECU reprograming at 54K, usual temp sensor failure in DEF tank, a MAF and NOx sensor replaced all under warranty, glow plug controller out of warranty (DIY). That's pretty much it. Car is 100% stock except for Bilstein B6 shocks.

Both my x5d and 335d got belts, water pump, thermostat, harmonic dampener, and clutched alternator pulley upon reaching 100k. Also redid the vacuum system with upgraded lines, pressure converters, and EUVs

I usually change belts every 60k miles. With over 100k on your belt....I would change it sooner than later. Do idlers and tensioner also.

Mine went at 84k, just after WP and t-stat. It's safe to assume it should be replaced.

Replaced both belts, pulley and tensioner at 116,000 miles.....tensioner was failing and minor cracking on main belt. Original harmonic dampener remains at 135k.

I changed it when I got the Fluidamper from tunemyeuro. It came as a set with the damper, clutched pulley, AC belt, and serpentine belt.

Belts, Idlers, tensioners and WP replaced at 162,00. WP was just starting to seep.

I change the belt every time I change the OEM harmonic damper pulley. That is twice or about 60K miles per harmonic damper failure. I just replaced the the harmonic damper with a Fluidampr, a new belt and a clutched alternator pulley. Hope this one will last forever.
