Am I actually wrong? I thought you can set it to ready and new emissions are basically just checking the readiness. They don’t do the smell test anymore.

Yeah as long as you flash back to stock. This will set readiness and remove your ses light. It can also help you troubleshoot your o2 sensors.

Thats only IF u have stock downpipes/cats in... THESE r a workaround for if u have catless downpipes.. they allow catalyst readiness to complete with catless downpipes (by tricking the DME)

If u have catless downpipes, MHD does jack shit for emissions since the catalyst readiness will NEVER show complete.. only way MHD will show readiness complete is if u have STOCK downpipes/cats installed.. and even still, MHD doesn't actually "let u set it to ready"...

In order to get readiness complete, u must satisfy certain driving parameters which is decided by the car's DME/ECU.. once the conditions r met, the car will finally allow "readiness complete" In this case, MHD is merely a scan tool which allows the user to view which systems have readiness complete/not complete

In order words, if u have catless downpipes and ur trying to pass emissions, the only way ur gna be able to do that is with one of these "DP FIX"

If u have stock downpipes/cats, then u really dont need this.. which is why this is called a "DP FIX"

I was working on one but it became more expensive to make based on parts. I would need to buy a min of 100 qtys to start. I don't think the market is there because it would cost more. Sorry. The usage is only once a year.
