Car stutters under boost, log included
hey, ive been dealing with an issue creeping up on me recently: cold starts start cold and then get real quiet, and when this happens, the car doesnt wanna go past 4k-ish rpm in any gear under full throttle.
Its intermittent, no codes, i finally caught it in a log today in second gear (MT), and then tried to get one more log of it and it pulled just fine, literally seconds after. Problematic log and OK log both attached. https://datazap.me/u/dhillon92/4k-rp...data=3-8-11-12 Only thing I can see is my AFR in the 11s, which i havent before, and also heavy timing drops on cyl1 data (?) Appreciate all the help, thanks!

Wait, are you saying you're doing this on a cold engine?

On my 2011 bmw 335xi n55 I am getting the code 2c72 lambda sensor of rear cat bank 2. I can't seem to find where my bank 2 is at on my car. Can anyone help? My car stutters super bad when I floor it and it seems to have a rough idle and blows smoke out of the exhaust when it's under pressure. Is this the lambda sensor?

Any type of studder under booat is a classic s8gn of a misfire.. a signature of these cars. Its a feature pretty much.
Ur low fuel pressure is causing misfires. And misfires dont always show up on logs. Because the dme has to get a specific amount in a specific amount of time. Low fuel pressure misfires are lean and not good. |
