I can't remember got this done awhile ago. I think I kept it in there because there is still a perforated connecting the two mufflers. but I don't think it would make much of a difference on the straight piped muffler.

Great mod. Just wondering if there is an effect on performance from this?

I don't think so without downpipes, maybe +/- a couple HP

An x-pipe would allow for such mixing which brings up a second question... since my E90 has a resonator, does the resonator mix the two streams or do they stay separate through the resonator?

Any one do this with oem catted downpipes. fbo_335 You think this would sound okay with catted downpipes, or if sticking with cats better to go with the traditional PE mod(both mufflers)?

I'm about to remove my second cats and would like to straight pipe inside the box to it but afraid it's to loud in the morning. Might have to plug my OEM valve back in. But would like to always have the valve open when I want. Last edited by TheMidnightNarwhal; 12-08-2018 at 11:02 PM.. |
