I'll settle for an improvement on the offset. Anywhere from +30 to +35 will do.

Agreed. The 19x8.5 +40 is not quite as aggressive as i'd like. +32 or +35 would be ideal...

Since the 19x10 on that 335i is a +38 offset, does that mean the +25 offset will be even more concave?

In terms of the way the wheel sits, ET40 is a "safe" offset which basically guarantees no rubbing regardless of ride height or tire size. A ET32 or 35 works however you will start losing the ability to go crazy on tire size. It really depends on whether you are trying for the "flush" look or the "wide tires" look.

When going from 40 to 35mm offset, you can see the difference only if the two CAD drawings were superimposed on each other. And I don't mean a 3D drawing, I meant, a cross-sectional drawing, zoomed in. If these two wheels were placed next to each other, you *might* be able to see the difference after staring at them for 5-10 minutes. Let alone in pictures or brochures. On the other hand, having a 8.5/10 combo highlights the aggressiveness of the rear wheel.

Definitely agree with the reasoning, but that 8mm difference (+32 instead of +40) is noticeable imo and would result in a fully flush application for us Z4M/E46 M3 folks.

I know the economics probably don't make sense to produce such an offset when the +40 works for both the 335 and E46 people just fine. However, it's simply wishful thinking I suppose. The 19x8.5 +32 would be absolutely ideal for the e46 M3/Z4M crowd...

Regardless, the wheels look excellent.

ET32 in terms of "flushness" is definitely noticeable to the discerning eye, although most would say, that even on the E92, ET40 is much closer to the fender than any factory wheels. With that being said, we do have 19x8.5 ET35 for the V710, but believe me when I say this, some clients have asked us to do ET40 due to tire choice.

My answer to them, is that if I can get enough orders to meet production minimums, I can definitely coordinate a special production batch. Oh heck, I should just give out free spacers with every order
