still easier than Shattered Halls and Shadow Labs.. but it is a nice touch.

heroics now take time to complete, unlike blowing through 3 in 15mins like in LK

I'm 8/12 on Cata... it's still easier than UO day's.

And even Cata is easier than the early days. (25man Strath/Scholo?)

And gaming has nothing to do with gettin laid... just don't nerd it up in public. Gaming is a hobby, but doesn't necessarily auto-make you a nerd...

I used to be a guild master and organizing 25 people of different skill/mentality/age to do what you want them to do is a challenge itself, almost management it seems.

At least at work you work with (hopefully) people of equal skills... lol

^ but once you're over it, you're over it. i can't bring myself to play that game anymore. just feels like i'm wasting my time. it's funny, i forgot to cancel my account for like a year once and then called to complain. they ended up giving me 6 months for free and i probably less than 24 hours of game time.


so.... anyone remember everquest? i know there's a couple of you that used to play that.

yes I'm over it.

However, if someone had a fully leveled up character for me to play or go gank with I would totally play now and then. However I would not level and raid.

My rogue owning BRM Pre-BC was epic fun though.

I never played Eve Online but WOW is a pretty social game. People will sit there and shoot the shit all day, duel, gank, etc.. Killing, griefing people, and just shooting the shit is just like playing COD in a way but your characters advance. There are nerds but there's a lot of normal people too. Out of literally MILLIONS of people, they can't all be nerds.

EVE was amazing a long time ago. It's very much a 2nd job though. Very hard to be casual in that game.

i think i tried that game during it's beta. seemed like a endless grind-fest. not for me. i didn't really give that game a chance though. mining/harvesting and traveling are filler things i hate to do. i wonder how many people bot in eve. i know i probably would.

speaking of shitty games, anyone used to play RO (ragnarok online). i used to play, but then i started botting. the game got boring after that. not that it was really THAT fun to begin with. too bad they don't have RO for phones. I'd consider playing that on my phone.

It's like anything else in life it's harmful if taken to the extreme, in moderation it's no different than GT5 or COD4 that all you guys play.

That said I have no time or interest to play anymore, maybe I will again someday if rated BG's take off but right now it's still a gay pve focused game.

Oh yeah I did EverQuest. Funny looking back at all the huge game play issues that have since been (mostly) resolved.

Anyone ever play Anarchy Online? Still the absolute best game as far as character customization went. Last I heard they were going to update the graphics engine, which was horrid. Just checked - nope.

I would agree, except the fact that you don't have to do the HOURS upon HOURS of grinding needed in these other games to be a top player..


Ive definitely skipped out on a lot of things to play matches, nothing im proud of and Ive definitely matured a lot since then..
