Exclamation E90 Rear diffuser for Non Mtech/ M3 Bumpers

I have brought this idea up to a few venders already and I would like to put this out there for others to comment also. I dont want to go through the hassle of buying and painting a bumper... There expensive and I just want to not spend as much on my daily car but still make it stand out on the road. So Im sure we will get some venders wanting to make this happen. So lets make a list of people that would be interested in this.

I would also like to have ideas thrown out for the style of rear diffuser. I will also be working on photo shops and Ideas.

Count me in! I would suggest talking to Gavin@MMW but it looks like you already ran the idea past him. Unfortunately he's busy working on the lip for the e90's.

the lower half of our bumpers aren't separable though. It's 1 piece. We'd have to cut?

No cutting this piece will fit over the bumper. So it will probably have mounting screws underneath and use double sided tape around the outside like the splitters. This is if it's like the bottom 2 pics I posted. If it's a full lip like the first pic then the exhaust would have to be brought down since the rear lip will sit lower.

I'm not diggin the idea of having to lower the exhaust like in the 1st pic.. something with the bumper screws and 3M tape would be a better option, for me at least.

I like the picture on the red car. How about one for the E92 rear bumper? I would buy that.

How about a CF sheet cut out like the red photo that you apply to your stock bumper. No painting, tape, screws and can be removed at the end of your lease.

Ive thought of that but the bottom bumper is to curvy for it to lay right. It would be a task to line it all up and make it straight. Also If someone wants dual quads like myself I can just cut my bumper and then lay the diffuser over and then I can have duals on each side.

Hey All

I'm currently working on a diffuser for the 335 m-tech rear - I'm really keen in developing something that will fit the stock rear though based on the interest shown here. I'm going to find a development mule in my area and see what I can do to get something out quite quickly (quickly being relative - it will take around 6 months)

I'd have to look at making a few options available:
335 vs. non 335

335: Dual / Quad openings

non 335: Similar story - opening on the left or both?

Give me some ideas / comments and I'll see how quickly I can get started on this.
