I guys, some help please... I am not a light guro so bare with me.

I have a 2007 335i sport package and I am pretty sure stock come with xenon lights. My regular bulbs are super bright but the Angel eyes are not and they are yellowish... anyway they both went out and I need to replacement (BTW the dealer quoted $380 to replace them)

I see LUX have 2 options, but which one is the best one in your opinions?
1) LUX H8 V5 Adjustable Color LED Angel Eyes
2) Lux H8 160W LED Angel Upgrades - 7000K Color

is option #2 the brightest?

Thank you

Lux H8 160 are the brighter of the two mentioned.

Lux V5 are color adjustable but slightly less output (very slight).

You didn't mention that neither Lux H8 160 or V5 are suitable for his Pre LCI 2007 car.

Like myself with the same car, we have to buy the Lux V6 is that correct?

According to Lux's website they have a special version for 2007 vehicles on the Lux V5.

Or any other 2007 vehicle can upgrade their vehicle to an FRM 3 module and theoretically it should work.

According to Lux's website the 2007 is not compatible with the V6.

Plenty of options depending on how much money you want to spend.

Or you can get an get the HPB 160W H8 Angel Eye Upgrades and they work on 2007 and they are similar output.

Hi Jeff

Thanks for your feedback.

I recall Lux talking about V5 version especially for E92 of 2007.
I wasn't aware of a frm change for sedans?

I have a 2007 October build 335i sedan.
Curious if the H8 160 will work or if I have to use the V6.

LuxAngelEyes can you advise?

Allow me to clear up some confusion.

You have a 2007 SEDAN, that is not compatible with any H8 angel eye offering whether it be the Lux or HPB H8 160W or the Lux V5 angel eyes.

You need the angel eyes specific for the 2007 Sedan with factory xenon.

Lux E90 Sedan V6 or HPB 80W E90 Sedan Factory Xenon Angel Eyes would be the most popular options we sell.

There are application listings on both of our websites. If you don't see your car listed, it won't fit.

Not going to say much, but I just installed a set of LED Angel eyes yesterday. These are top quality Samsung units, are fused, and also error free. They came in beautiful packaging, and look identical (like literally came from the same manufacturing facility) to others that are price well over $150.00

I paid $43.00 for the set with shipping. They installed super easy, and look fantastic...

The picture attached doesn't even do them justice. They look perfect in person.

Up close picture was with the sun out at 3pm. They look even whiter in person.

THanks for clarifying Jeff. Correct for the Sedan cars you need lights designed for the sedans, such as the LUX E90 V6.

The ones you installed actually appear to be much dimmer than the stock bulbs. Also, the last few posts have been about the 06-08 sedan models, not the later 09-11 models that you posted a picture of

Key word is "appear". They are brighter than stock, with a much whiter color temperature. The iPhone Camera takes away a lot of the effect.

There are a lot of different options out there other than 80w or 20w bulbs. I would recommend checking out the vendor section and read some reviews from others out there. the "20w" style bulbs were released well over 4 years ago so the technology used is very outdated as well.

Well we would recommend our products since we have been one of the market leaders in the E90/E92 angel eyes from the start. We also develop and manufacture our own products so we stand by them. Take a look at the links in our signature for our lights, or send me a PM if you have any questions

Hello All just wanted to through my fun with halos in also. I have an 07 e90 335i (4 door) and one of the factory halo lights were out. I decided to buy some cheapOs from eBay for $49 and they are so dim it's pathetic. I then decided to buy some blue colored ones from another site for $69 and after 6 months one has burnt out. So to date thats $118 trying to go cheap.

After reading this thread I bought a set of Lux e90 V6 from Extreme Power House for $118.75. They gave me free shipping and an instant discount. So after installing them yesterday I can say these are the brightest I've ever seen and the design is like comparing a Tank to a Geo. Here are some before and after pics.

By the way you don't have to take the wheel off just turn it outward, unscrew 7 8mm nuts, 1 10mm plastic nut and your inner liner pulls right out. Your in within 10 mins.
