Hello guys,

I'm been following the forums religiously, but not I'm in big dilemma of choosing the right car for my need/wants.

Background: I've been driving 2008 320d N47 as daily until few months ago. Done around 400K km. (250k miles). Had new engine replaced. The car served well given the road conditions and fuel quality in my country. In the past, I've owned few E36's with inline-6 and 4 cyl. engines.

Now I'm 90% leaning towards petrol (as my 6-7k km. per year does not warrant diesel).

I'm looking into getting a car from Switzerland. Exclusively with full service history. I've set my budget to ~10k EUR. Already found several options:

2009 325i xDrive with 265k km. (165k miles)
2008 330i Cabrio with 188k km. (117k miles)
2008 335i Cabrio with 256k km. (160k miles)
2007 335xi Coupe with 198k km. (123k miles)
2008 330xd Coupe with 160k km. (100k miles)
2010 335i with 230k km. (143k miles) (this is probably N55).

I don't mind paying for spare parts if something goes wrong. The labor in my country is not very expensive as well. I will maintain the car properly.

I'm looking for something both fun and fairly reliable. (and I know all the common issues with these engines).

My main questions are:

- Would you go for high millage E9x?
- Would you go for high millage N53/N54?
- What would be your order of choosing among these cars?
