swapping the HPFP from F30 to E90....
Bought a used 2013 F30 N55 engine for my 2011 E90 335Xi. When swapping HPFP over, I noticed they are not the same. After I removed 5 5mm hex bolts and tried to separate the HPFP housing from the vacuum pump, it has high resistance so I stopped. did anyone do this swapping before?

Youre gonna find that the F30 uses an electronic wastegate while E90 uses pneumatic

Update: You can't just swap the hpfp. The vacuum pump also needs to be swapped. It sucks that you have to open up the vacuum pump plastic seal in order to remove the vacuum pump. BMW requires to use the special tool, but I did it without it.
