You can actually code off the airbag sensor with NCSExpert. Its the cheapest way to do it, my dog sets it off too.

Yea, that does look like a pretty good deal. The car is pretty stripped (no leather and heated seats) and its a Pre-LCI, but it does have the sport package and xenons.

Exactly. You get the 255hp N52 and no turbo problems. Though I'd feel a bit weird about owning a car with only 6000 miles on it and 11 years old.

I don't mind the color combo, actually. I think the E9x cars look best with black and brown interiors, while the grey looks meh, but the E61s look awesome with grey interiors.

Depends what u looking for. 5 series is definitely bigger than younger brother 3 series, but e61 without turbo it might be to heavy to handle for NA engine IMO.
Other reason is interior. 3 series have more modern interior colors, fancy combination. For instance I got alpine white exterior with red cinnamon leather and wood trim interior what looks for me awesome. Soon I'm planning to swap 3 stage intake manifold to get that e61 530 255hp or even more than that.

True, I've never driven one. They're not as heavy as I thought though, looks like the curb weight is ~3900 lbs. Compared to my xDrive wagon at ~3600 lbs, thats not too shabby!

Apparently all of the US E61s got automatic load leveling air suspension in the rear too, that's pretty neat.

Agreed - I was set on a N54 535 E61.. and then I drove one. Yep, she had a lot of pull, but she was definitely markedly bigger than my prior e90 335. I was surprised as how unwieldy it felt - not necessarily heavy, but just that there was a lot of car surrounding me. I ended up going with an e91 and haven't regretted it at all.

So, with that as a lame segue I'll mention that I'm going to be selling my 328xi 6MT when I get home from my deployment (hopefully be home in 4 weeks). I suppose this is a little preliminary, but I'd like to start to get things moving on it. You can check my other posts for details, as I briefly (ie about a week) listed it before leaving. Nothing has changed aside from the fact that my father drove it a bit while visiting and put a few more miles on it - I can get the exact reading from my wife.

Also, the lightest verision of e91 has to be rear wheel drive 6mt. The worst option to get and the slowest one is 325xi automatic. that car is not moving at all. Same on e61 rear and stick : )

It only came in brown, and was a 535d. They called it the Jalop Edition, and no one bought it.
