335i N55 E9X or 435i. Which one?
Hello fellow BMW lovers,
I'm in the market for a new car and I have narrowed it down to either the 335i N55 E93 or the 435i Convertible. I need help deciding which one to go for as from what I have seen they are both great cars. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

If you must get a vert, get the 435i with some sort of extended warranty.

The 4 series is newer, it's the more sensible choice. A few of the changes aren't well liked but overall it's still a newer superior design.
Even if I do personally find the looks a downgrade over the E92/3, but that's a matter of opinion. |

See Now I'm going towards the 435i, I've owned a 335i n55 in the past and also test driven a 4 series and yes the steering is really light but I had to sell my 335i and feel like I didn't get enough time to have the experience of using it

F series steering is quite different from the E. If you put it in Sport mode it feels much better, but it's still lighter than E. After some time you'll get used to it and enjoy it, but every time you get back into an E90 you'll immediately remember what you've been missing.
Steering response or the more modern technology? That's really the question. |

4-Series looks much newer and aggressive than any E9X. The interior obviously more updated but not amazing. E9X doesnt have an aggressive front end but I do love its backend. Image of the E9X is ruined from all the kids who have them
Handling and steering of E9X is out of the 4-Series' league. E9X is more of a raw car where you feel every bump and turn while the 4-Series has been greatly turned into a comfortable ride for every day driving. Steering feels very artificial. Sport mode is worse and overreactive. 435i has the better 8-speed and new HPFP/waterpump with ewg depending on the year. More customizable for tuning, eg. putting sport+ with high burbles only. E9x a ligher car and runs better times side-to-side
