No I have not - actually the member I bought my M3 cluster from did all the initail setup, new EEPROM, etc. I only set up my preferences using NETTODAT coding.

At that time, he had found no way to allow shift lights for non-DCT tranny, but stated that they would work with car that had DCT tranny (even non-M car).

He was working on an add-in piggyback circuit board (and actually made a prototype) that would simulate the DCT signals to get the lights to work for even steptronic, but cost was prohibitive - so I think he scrapped the idea

Yes, it will automatically get your mileage. Before coding and writing your VIN to it, there will be a tamper dot and some of the functions (including maintenance reminders) will not work correctly.

Can anyone confirm how the dynamic redline works on non-M3? Will it "stop" rising at the appropriate limit? Or does it keep going to the M3 rev limit?
