so should'nt the title of this thread be changed from "xxx dealership sucks" to "how the hell did my wife put another cd in when there was already one in there?"

i mean, she must have really shoved it in since the cd player obviously does not accept another cd when there is already on in there. I hear you floridians are real smart down there.

When there is a CD in the drive already it doesn't make the nice little whurr noise and suck another in and it very resistant to you putting another in. She must have really pushed hard to get a 2nd CD in there. Kind of silly if you ask me.

You could put all your/her CDs on an ipod and just plug it in the console. Just get a $5 connection cord at Radio Shack. It would be alot cheaper and safer. I never use the CD player, I hope mine works, LOL.

Why in the world would the dealership fix the cd player for free when it got damaged from misuse?

If I were you I'd carefully remove the CD's without leaving any marks on the player and take it in and say "IT STOPPED WORKING WHAT A MYSTERY IT MALFUNCTIONED FOR NO REASON!"

this is why your wife should come with you when they explain the car and she also should have read the owners manual. If she would have done these 2things then this would not have happened. I would make her read the owners manual cover to cover for sure now as its obvious she is clueless on how the car works.
