VRSF are made in China, no one hides that fact. Same for most of the electronics, clothes and other products you use everyday and get charged premium for it

manufacturing country is not important, what matters in the finished product, design and quality control

Get an ebay intercooler, compare it with a VRSF one and you will see obvious differences (use my first post as a reference)

That ER core looks amazing. I will definitely be buying one of those soon along with a ER charge pipe, then time for MHD.

Unfortunately it is not as easy as some would like it to be

For a fair comparison, intercoolers need to be tested on the same car same mods, preferably same day and same road.

Other factors like ambient temp vs starting temp should be considered as well

I know what you mean but be cautions when saying anything.

Not all intercoolers offer a noticeable upgrade over stock. All proven brand intercoolers do

I have seen some ebay intercoolers with ridiculous core density and finish. .. Highly doubt they will do any better than stock

So how does that work???
I think you either got a defective AA intercooler or something went wrong with the install

A big intercooler with low fin density might lower IAT based on size alone but pressure drop will suffer

I would go with either

Wagner EVO II Competition
ETS 7"
AA Race
Evolution Racewerks
VRSF 7"

Pros and cons of each can be discussed but i would rather not do so on this thread or i might get in trouble with some manufacturers

Overpriced. Save your $$$ especially if that far away from upgraded turbos.

I was initially looking at the ATM but ended up deciding on a Wagner Evo 2 performance. Mine is just a street car and I wanted the extra heat sinkability the extra mass provides. Ended up buying it from you guys during your sale. Smoking deal! Should be here Monday per DHL.

My previous two 335s were AMS, and Helix systems so I look forward to comparing the Wagner to those.

Yeah and those same Chinese made goods that are at the lower end of the price scale in their respective industries are all complete shit too. Every product I have had from VRSF has had poor to horrible fitment and poor to medium build quality.

Most people don't know the difference because they go from stock to VRSF and think hell yeah because they did a mod. But honestly if you compare their products to what a lot of the other vendors are offering it's not even close.

You get what you pay for.

Good choice.. I think its the best FMIC in terms of quality and efficiency on the market. Close second is the Wagner EVO2.

Well I'd love to see some real hard data comparisons between VRSF and other "top brands". I ran a VRSF intercooler on a different platform and it performed just as well as a "high end Garret" core I had on there before. Most of the stuff I've seen from them has been pretty nice. There have been some fitment issues from what I've heard but so has many other "top" brands such as AR.

The manufacturer of the intercooler made the comparison tests?
