Yes, I know, my Title/Subject line clearly states that.

LCI Style Rears for E90prelci

If you want OEM LCI, then you have to buy OEM LCI Trunk, OEM LCI Rear Tails, OEM Rear Inners, Repin wiring, maybe even code, possibly $1000.00+ depending on how you procure parts, you also have to consider install & paint into that equation.

This is, roughly, a $300.00 alternative, thanks for your comment though, just trying to give options to the PRELCI community, I for one really like these, go to group buy page if anyone is interested!

they're not even LCI style though...technically speaking.

they don't dip down like the LCI ones do. i realize you have disclaimed that they are not OEM, but i wouldn't even compare them to LCI. if anything, call them pre-LCI all-reds or something...

i don't really like 'em but they're definitely different!

I really like them It "looks like" the lci ones, but in the same format as the pre-lci. I just can't justify right now putting 300 down on such small cosmetic mod, but If I had some extra money laying around I'd be getting a pair for sure !

GL with the group buy.

Guys, the TITLE sais it all, again ...LCI Style Rears for E90prelci

How do you expect them do dip down on a prelci trunk?

Do you also see the LED's and 2 stripes across, these were mfr'd as LCI Style'd.....they are not swaps to LCI vehicles, these would not fit, these are for PRELCI only...my apologies if I have made this confusing to the masses

Anyway if your interested then cool, if not, then cool too!

We're on the same wave my friend...

I know, right, I kind of dig the PRELCI (LCI STYLED) ones better, they have character!

At least the e90 tail lights look close to the real thing... the e92 ones aren't even close. Too bad, it would be nice to find an alternative for the e92 lci tails.

if you want them to look more lci then just paint/vinyl a trip of white or w.e color your car is on the top of those lights.

Personally, I'd rather spend a little more and do lci conversion. I like the stock look because it's more classy/mature, having said that this is the nicest looking aftermarket tails though. maybe if I saw these in person id be sold.

It looks better but if you're already spending one third of the price you might as well go all the way and do it right. Maybe it's worth organizing a group buy for the full conversion. The e90 LCI looks awesome and I'm sure a few people would be up for it.

I'm kind of confused by the above comments. I dont have an E90, so I could be wrong, but If you wanted to really do the LCI e90 lights, you would need to buy a new trunk for you car (which the original poster already mentioned). That's a serious difference in money spent.

I agree with the original poster that the lights are LCI "Style" meant to fit a pre LCI trunk.

To actually purchase an LCI trunk just to get the LCI lights on your car seems crazy to me...having said that...there are lots of crazies in this forum lol

Right. Trunk, programming, paint, lights etc. Some people have used creative methods to get parts for lower prices. I just threw it out there for someone to investigate. I don't have an e90 but if I did I would do the LCI conversion, it just looks so much better.

I've done the full front conversion, it's not as easy as you would think it is, especially procuring the parts.

It took me a year to accumulate the parts for my LCI front end conversion, sure I could have just bought them through a dealership or online vendor but total cost makes it not worth it.

I know very well what is required, like I said, I have been researching for quite some time.

If you are lucky enough to find those parts in your area through a salvage, with your paint finish, intact etc then its worth while, if not you are lookin at $1000.00 plus services..............

Everyone on the US side understands this.........what happened here? lol

I assume because there are many more conversions going on over there, I believe I am the only conversion in BC, and only a few have successfully completed this on the CDN side.

Anyhow, wish I could delete this thread, no "real" interest generated...thanks for the comments all.
