just read up on it. 2BEE - 11246 - P15DF - Check rail-pressure sensor - Replace rail-pressure sensor - Check low-pressure sensor - Check operation of fuel pump - Replace high-pressure pump sounds like a trip to the dealer for HPFP. you would have to remove the tune, get that error again. bring her in for service.

Amans_e90 knows better than we do.
he drives his e90 daily. he mention'd it's at start up - he'll get the error but it would clear after a few mins.

Good luck with your trip to the visit bro.
BTW guys, he's not the first one. The dealer changed my HPFP when it was stock about 6 months back.

I don't think it's hpfp.
The light comes on the first start up of the day. I turn off the car turn it back on and it's okay. Im back to normal. You guys are scaring me lol Okay so obviously imma take out the tune, intake but do I really need to remove the down pipe, fmic cause that would murder my wallet.

Never got a service light though, I just took it in and they claimed it was the problem and changed it.

I had those too, maybe 20 times total long cranks in my car's life (25,000 miles) all before 10,000 miles. After the 10,000 mile mark i never noticed it again.. Right now my car is starting up all weird but it was because of the recent fix i had with all the rubber particles in my engine they had to remove. So my car will never be the same .

It was the fuel pump. They are replacing it today or tomorrow.

Well I got the PPK1 upgrade about two months ago. Since then I have start up surging with the RPMs. No long cranks yet. I suppose I should get it checked out just in case.

Hey, I am experiencing the similar symptoms. The car runs fine if I start it up and don't let it idle for too long. If I let it idle for a long period of time. It throws two codes (2BEE and 2BF8), misfires, and throw engine light. If I turn the car off fully and start it back on, the car runs fine again if I don't let idle for too long. Also, no crazy long cranks like many have described when their HFPF is about to go out.
My symptoms sound similar to yours? Can you please shed some lights into this? I will greatly appreciate it. Lastly, when you said "it was the fuel pump". Are you talking about the low pressure fuel pump by the gas tank or the high pressure fuel pump (HPFP)? |
