Torx Bolt for Tensioner Pulley

I am a first time poster and a first time BMW owner. I've had my car a year and I just turned 70k miles. Tonight I went to dinner then after dinner I got the charging malfuction light and no power steering. I muscled it home and did some research. I looked under the hood and the belt tensioner bolt has broken off and the belt slipped off. My question is, can I just replace the bolt and not the tensioner? Do both need to be replaced? If so, why? I don't want to go to a shop and have them look at it and over charge me when all it needs a $3 bolt. I understand they will have to tighten it but im just trying to avoid spending a ton of money if it dosen't need it and the car shop screwing me over.

Thanks in advance for any info.
