maintainence question..
hey guys/girls..
I just want to ask what should be done around this mileage. I have a 2006 330i sport. 49,100 miles, one and only owner me. What should I expect to change around 50k miles? Things I have done for maintnce so far: 1. front and rear brakes and sensors 2. thermostat changed because of failure warning 3. tires changed 4. air cabin filter changed oil has been changed according to schedule. thanks |

Check for leaking valve cover and oil filter housing gaskets. Plugs, tranny fluid, coolant, checks hoses and belts, look for broken cylinder head bolts, and maybe give a look at the undercarriage. Good luck. I too have a 330i and I'm at 69k. Get a Bentley manual it will help.

Does the Bentley manual tell you when services should be done? (mile wise?)

Definitely check for oil leaks around your pan. The gasket on these are known to fail. Also prepare to replace your water pump sooner then later. I would also replace the coolant if you have not already done so. What about the battery, still on stock battery? If so, that might need replacing.
Other than that, enjoy and drive your car while it's problem free. |

Yeah, I know that part. But I guess what I mean is, does it tell you what other "little" things should be fixed at what time depending on wear 'n tear? and stuff of that sort?
