Hello.

During the last couple of days I drove my 335 about 1 500 kms.
I had a period of roughly 100 kms where the CEL showed up, I just turned the car on and off on the highway since it got annoying.
It was only when I let go of the gas pedal rolling forward in gear that the CEL showed up. Never during WOT or cruising, only when I let go of the pedal.

I haven't gotten around to check codes with the BT cable but will tomorrow.

Anyone had the same symptom or care to take a wild guess?

Assuming there's no known software updated for this specific fault (I don't think so) You're probably looking at a defective post cat, bank 1 (cylinders 1-3) 02 sensor. Exhaust modifications/leaks can cause post 02 faults/failure, be advised.

Since it's a "signal" fault, this would indicate there is a problem with the actual sensor/wiring as opposed to the sensor detecting another problem with say, the catalytic converter.

I've had the below error popping up since 36 000 kms.

And the dealership can't figure out what's wrong with it, they have changed the throttle housing at my expense since I was out of warranty when it started happening...

According to you, shoud I change the O2 sensor or is there another way?

It seems the problem for the accelerator pedal module was cable 7 in the grey subconnector.
Slot 6 and 7 in the small black subconnector seemed like they were glitching so I changed them as well. They could have been the cause of the lambda error (I' guessing here).

Now, I just did this yesterday so perhaps the problem hasn't been solved. If I don't post back here, that was the problem. Which currently seems very probable.

It was cable 7 in the grey subconnector in the DME/ECU that triggered the 2d1b. You have to get to the DME and search out the cable, disconnect it from the subconnector and by hand sliding it on to one of the pins in the DME. If you have wiggle room once it's slid it place, that's your problem.
And before digging down to the DME, did you have the "Short circuit or signal interruption" in your code? Without that part I wouldn't bother looking for bad connections, as it was in my case.

My first step was to switch the accelerator pedal module with another 3-series I have. But that wasn't it, in my case.

If you get the code after driving until the engine is warm, park the car for say 20-40 minutes, then restarting it to have the CEL go off...or it goes off when you drive on uneven surfaces...I'd put my money on a bad connection.
