help with check engine code

sorry i posted this in the wrong section before
Hi guys I was pulling out of my garage last night when i got the dreaded half engine yellow light, when I used the stalk to check the code it came up with cc-id 29 I also had cc-id 97 previously. I know that 29 is a dme fault and that 97 is an airbag fault. My main question is, I am currently under extended warranty and when I restarted the vehicle the light was no longer on. Will the DME log the code? I would like to take my car to the dealership so they can resolve this but do not want to waste my time if they cannot see the error code. I do not have any tune. Just DCI.
