Single turbo boost control

Hey guys,

Going with a bottom mount with a 6266. I know I need a MAC solenoid, but what's recommended to use for controlling boost? I prefer to have a full flash tune, but If I need to upgrade to a JB4 and also use the FSB to control meth then let it be, but If there are other options please share.

One tuner recommended the Gforce and another tuner recommended that I don't use the Motiv boost box.

The only thing I can say here is that I've seen other people have trouble with the motiv boost box as well, and removing it really made things easier

I might just stick to JB4 since I'm also running meth. In reality pushing a single turbo at 28-30 psi...you're going to want all the meth safety features and such and controlling boost is much more simple.

Yes, same plus some additional reason why I removed the GForce and went with JB4

JB4 is rock solid for single turbo control and really easy. You can use the JB4 for meth control or use a stand alone controller if you prefer. If you go stand alone for meth be sure it has a flow sensor so the JB4 can monitor flow and incorporate that in to your safety systems. Full boost assuming meth with no meth flowing usually = time for new engine.

Is the flow sensor built into the BMS kit? I have the AEM kit currently and I'm going to remove the controller and replace it with the JB4 FSB and BMS solenoid.

Yes it's built in to the FSB, based on pump current and software elements like fuel trims.
