Seriously? I thought these were long since discontinued (you're speaking of the yellow performance ones, right)?

The springs themselves are still available, but the kits aren't. I'm not sure if the official shocks are still available, and it's just the sway bars that aren't.

https://www.ecstuning.com/b-dinan-pa...waApE6EALw_wcB Double and triple check part numbers. There seem to be a few different ones for e92/e90

See here, for example: https://www.schmiedmann.com/en/produ...1-33-6-788-894 I think that part no is a front spring for an e90 335i. https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...ce-31336788894 https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-5...uine-bmw-part/ https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...g/31336788894/ Last edited by Tambohamilton; 10-28-2020 at 02:37 AM.. |

Mine are off the shelf spec r springs. I also went to a square set up at the same time and am thinking I need to pull out my H&R 20mm rear bar and put back in my Hotchkis 16mm rear bar. It feels like I might have gone a little to far trying to balance out understeer...

I know, the two aren't equivalent, but swapping wheels is definitely a lot less labour intensive! |

You don't want that full kit anyways, apart from the springs everything else is sub-par

Oh and I thought I would clarify... I had the sport package springs... NOT the BMW Performance springs that I mistakenly mentioned I had. I was also running SP lowering perches on the front struts with the sport springs. This effectively reduces the spring preload and undoubtable contributed to the overdamped condition I was experiencing. Last edited by avocet; 10-29-2020 at 01:19 PM.. |

Lowering perches mean you sit that amount further into your aux springs...harshness and understeer will result!
Simplest way to lower the front end without affecting ride is to switch to xd strut top mounts; they're about 3/8-1/2" shorter than sport mounts, and 1/2-5/8" ish shorter than non-sport ones. Clearly that only works for rwd cars... |

True, but, I think a lot of the people happy with them are happy they are comfortable, with a slight performance increase. I’m willing to sacrifice some comfort for performance. Motor and tranny mounts made this pretty much full race car. And, it’s certainly not reliable enough for long road trips.

B14 kit any good? Or is it just a B12 with height adjustment?
What about the Koni+H&R spring kits? they have 2 different ones, I'm not sure what the difference is. https://www.tdotperformance.ca/koni-...ering-kit.html https://www.tdotperformance.ca/koni-...ering-kit.html |

Why not go with the B12 kit & Eibach front & rear sway bars.
After the break in period, if you want to stiffen it up even further, then add Monroe rear, upper bump stops. If you want even more, but the BMW sport springs. You can get M3 subframe bushings & M3 diff bushings too to create a stiffer & more connected ride. |
