Run Flat tire Help

Last week, I got an air pressure warning sign while starting my 06 BMW in the morning. I had replaced the rear 2 Run Flat tires(Bridgestone) just 5 months back. Usually I keep the tire pressure at 38 and had filled the pressure just 3 weeks back. My driver side runflat tyre's air pressure was 25 when the warning came up. Later i filled it up to 38 again and reset the warning. But the light came back again in 2 days. This has happened twice. What could be the issue? Is this tyre repairable? or needs to be replaced since it is a run flat tyre? This seems to be a headache.

RFT can be repaired just like any other tire. Dealer might not do it due to "policy", but most shops will be fine. Haven't you had a flat before? No more headache than that.

I've had a flat before and I had to replace the tyre at that time as recommended by the tire mechanic at that time. Here in this case looks like it is coming down to 25 and not reducing below that.

Get yourself a set of Zentino Gredge Semi slick Road legal tyres. At $130Au each, they have the same side wall as the R/Fs and can be driven to a shop for repairs.Fantastic in the wet and Brilliant in the dry. These tyres really surprised me with the grip and lack of road noise.I have had 4 sets now and average about 40k per set.
