gloss black rear diffuser

hi newbie here with an e90 msport.
just wondering if any1 has painted their rear diffuser gloss black. would like to do this but not sure if the exhaust heat would damage the paint. any tips and pictures welcome.thanks

I did mine, no issues with exhaust heat. Used a rattlecan, can't remember if it was Krylon, or Rust-Oleum. Tips would be to remove it from the bumper, clean, clean, clean it thoroughly, sand lightly with fine sand paper, then clean, clean, clean it again. Once that's done, spray it in light coats until you're good with the coverage. Mine didn't look good at first, the black wasn't as...black, as the trim on the car, but once installed it looks fine.
