Day Time Running Lights

Hi All,

I have a 08 E90 with halogen lights. (what a big mistake.)

I hate those yellow Day Time Running Lights.

I want to change the color to hyper white. Please suggest which types or brands of hyper white bulbs that will not give me an error message?

It will be great if you can provide me a website or a link to purchase. Thanks!

Any halogen light shouldn't give you an error, as long as its the same wattage.

Why not just have the DRLs programmed off?

for halogen setup, you would need two sets of H7, MTEC's are error free and also the same wattage as stock, which is 55Watts

Check your manual. Just play around with the stalk a bit. I know the icon for it looks like a sun. And yes halogens suck, which is why I got the xenons plus they give the BMW its look.

non idrive - when the car is completely stopped and in neutral (or P) move the dial on the front of the stalk. one of the menus in there has various settings like lights blinking when you lock, etc. in there is the DRL option it looks like a pic of the sun and some light beams. just select it with the BC button on the stalk. with idrive i think its just somewhere in the settings
