My Shop usually uses the over on all racecars that use them.
We have cars both with the stock latches as well and without. On our personal ones we have the stock latches simply because of the hood lifting slightly at high speeds on track. Ours with the stock latches as well is relatively flush while we see our competitors have some lift at lets say daytona or watkins glen up the esses
