Struggling to figure out how to use jb4.

Cant make over 18psi.

Tried map 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Map holds spring pressure 14psi to redline.
Map 2, 3 and 4 make 17 18 psi.

Logs are weird to me on jb4. Wgdc shoots to the moon but turbo doesnt sound like its working hard at all.

Asked for help on jb4 forum see what happens.

Did a bit more logging.
HPFP is on the edge on this map.
Map 1, e85 flash.

Makes 17psi and is a bit of fun but falls of a bit after 5500rpm.

Log attached
The Ford barra intercooler is working well pretty impressed not bad for $1100 aud and $30 parts for a bracket. ( had to custom make end tanks, free as i diy)

You see anything else I should be looking out for let me know. Im not sure why its not hitting timing targets of 9 degrees up top its around 2 degrees lower.

Cant upload .csv files what a joke.
Its 2020 not 1986.

Upload video of log then.

Just put the 17s with hoosiers on at the drags.

Do a massive skid when I can find a legal place to do it.

Enjoy the car on the street and go a bit quicker at the drags.

Realistically 11.5 with di only. I only have meth with tiny a tiny nozzle to keep it cool. Anything faster I would be suprised.

Built glide right? Not sure if this is the problem you are having but,They are a relatively noisy trans.
For example they have a relatively noisy whine in neutral/park which I have no idea why. But, the ones I have been in it sounds like a blower almost that loud.
I reckon if you google it , you will find other people freaking out before being told.

Hope its just that. If it drives nice then dont sweat it.

Why did the mechanic believe the transmission was stuffed Brule? Was it the way it was performing or the noises coming from it.

Noise, he jumped in and said straight up it doesnt sound right.
Did 1km block pulled over drove slow in 1st. Stopped went through the gears.

It drives fine.
I think its noiser than powerglides t400 he has heard before.
Probably the first 6cylinder with a powerglide he has heard?
I havent had time to see anyone about it yet.

I think its fine but need someone to confirm its all good.

The engine and exhaust are very subtle so the trans is the noisiest.

Sounds totally normal ha ha.... get rid of the muffler , fit a screamer pipe and drive it hard till 'something' breaks .

Tip. The 'something' won't be the glide
