Best Intake? N51
Hello,
I am purchasing a 2011 328i xDrive M-Sport with the N51 motor...does this matter? I want to know what the best intakes are out there for a refined and better sounding exhaust note. Will an intake even improve the sound of my exhaust note? I like the swirling noise from cold air intakes but do not know where to look or where to start. Or would I be better off saving up for the BMW performance exhaust? |

There are a few intakes out there for the n51/2 that slightly add power but they're pricey if I'm not mistaken. |

intake won't do anything but if you do get one get the euro air intake for ease of getting into filter

So Intake is really only for noise? Even a cold air intake?! I thought a CAI or a DCI would be an upgrade from the stock intake... Especially when combined with inlets n other things. So Stock intake is the best from what I am gathering ...

Another option is Injen, but honestly sound is subjective - so there you go. |
