335i topspeed delimited

i did some searching and came up empty. i was wondering if anyone knows the top speed of a 335i when the governor is off.

and you will find a thread or two with your answer. One in particular which I remember from a few months ago was from a guy in a tuned PROcede v2/v3 335i with an aftermarket suspension, driving around the Autobahn I believe.

And, I think someone also mentioned the top speed of a stock 335i in that thread as well.

im sure it could do 175 mph easily. some guy has a 545i sport with the limiter removed and he hit 180 mph. theres a vid on youtube

PROcede has the de-limiter included or you can get one from Active Autowerke for $265.

180 MPH are you kidding me you need at least over 400HP to overcome the drag at that speed hence why the Bugatti uses all of its 1000HP instead of 500 or something in order to hit 253 MPH.

Probably around 173 mph (uneducated guess that sounds believable)

Yeah, this has been asked many times. The theoretical top speed for the MT because of gearing is 194, but there is no way with our current tuning you can get that fast. You'll have to get some kind of piggyback or reflash to delimit the 335i anyway, so arguing over the top speed stock is kind of pointless. Two threads I remember seeing are the one with Procede V3 going 182, and the first Dinan reflash going 170 (the S3 Dinan reflash probably would allow for a little more speed though).
