HELP 19" M3 220m Alloys on e90 pre lci m sport

hi guys i have recently bought m3 alloys for my 318d m sport and as soon as i put it on i got rubbing issues. what do you guys suggest should i get coilover suspension and raise the car height and roll the fenders, or buy low profile tires to give more room in the wheel wheel.

original alloys that came with car was 193m alloys 18"
front= 8Jx18 ET: 34 (225 40 18)
rears=8.5Jx18 ET: 37 (255 35 18)

M3 220m alloys 19"
front=8.5Jx19 ET29 (245 35 19)
rear=9.5Jx19 ET23 (265 35 19)

ANY SUGGESTIONS THANKS

Tyre sizes are your issue I would think.

Fr 235/35/19
R 255/30/19 or 265/30/19

Also take into account a Yoko 265 maybe thinner or thicker by some margin than a Falken 265. Its a minefield.

I'd go 225/35 and 255/35 on the tyre sizes and go from there.

Always thought the M3 rims were too aggressive a fitment for non-M's.

If it's rear you could step the tyre size down but might need to dial in more camber and have the arches rolled.

The rears just in terms of alloy placement will stick out a further 27mm from the standard rim without the tyre increase (so that's quite a difference).

Could do with pics to see where it currently sits tbh.

I Don't Have The Alloys On The Car At The Moment Because It Was Rubbing And I Didn't Want To Get My New Tires Worn Or Damaged So I Have Put The Old Ones Back On. When I Do Put It Back On I Will Definitely Take A Photo.

I Have Just Bought Coil Over Suspension With Adjustable Ride Height Maybe That Will Help And I Am Getting The Fender Rolled Aswell.

I Loved The M3 Alloys I Need It On My Car What Ever It Takes.

9.5 ET23 will fit with a 255, I had the same with ET20. You just need to lightly roll the arch, just so the inner lip points upwards. You don't need to do the thick return that goes from the outer arch.

I had them on my E90 330D SE 2006. They look spot on. On the rear I would go 30 profile otherwise you may need a small arch roll.

hi dragerboy i dont think the alloys will sit properly even with 30 profile tires at the back because my car is a m sport and i think the ride is even lower than the se or standard e90. its got a different suspension to se models which makes it sit low i think.

I think the fact you have M-Sport suspension is a bonus as you will have less travel/movement than mine. I've seen plenty of E90's with them on.

I would use 235/35/19 and 265/30 rear and roll the inside lip on rear and coilovers or a good springs.

Raj, that front bumper / splitter looks the nuts , where did you get it from?
Do you know if it would fit an E92 330d M Sport (pre lci 2007)?
Kind regards
Jamie
