I have the alpine kit fitted into my car and I get what can only be described as white noise threw the speakers the fronts don’t work
The amp is showing intermittent power the red light blinks and sometimes the green light pops on who ever fitted it was a idiot |

Is the pre-facelift or facelift Alpine system fitted to the car? Pre-facelift was easier to f*ckup as it involved cutting wires (instead of connecting block to connecting block as per the later versions), so id personally check all the connections are EXACTLY as per the diagram before having a massive panic.

You can look in the left boot for another amp. It would be under the little plastic cd changer cover.

Please check the wiring in the door sill is exactly as per the diagram and post back on here when you have the amp gets the connection to the speakers from here. As mentioned, on the pre-facelift (which you have) its pretty easy to get the wiring wrong, which would mean no sound. In addition, if the CIC has been retrofitted and incorrectly coded, ie HIFI/BASE incorrect, that could be the issue as well. |
