I have the alpine kit fitted into my car and I get what can only be described as white noise threw the speakers the fronts don’t work

The amp is showing intermittent power the red light blinks and sometimes the green light pops on who ever fitted it was a idiot

I would recommend all connections are checked, especially the ground cable. An intermittent power light more than likely points towards a power/ground issue. This is what I have experienced in the past.

Is the pre-facelift or facelift Alpine system fitted to the car? Pre-facelift was easier to f*ckup as it involved cutting wires (instead of connecting block to connecting block as per the later versions), so id personally check all the connections are EXACTLY as per the diagram before having a massive panic.

It’s a pre face lift with a cic retro fitted I’m going to have the amp checked and go from there strip it all down and take a look and need a new plug for the ccc to cic conversion if anyone knows were a decent one to buy is.

According to the diagram it seems there is no direct to radio lead how does the amp get its signal from the head unit

As Dave has mentioned and also on the PDF, the connections are made in the loom at the door sill.

Is it only CIC retrofitted or Hifi amp as well? Sounds like a dumb question but I sold an alpine retrofit and the buyer had issues because he did not know you can't use them together.

I have no idear the cic is retrofitted as it’s a 57 plate car the alpine amp front door speakers and teeeters are alpine the plug and the wireing is the same as the photos

You can look in the left boot for another amp. It would be under the little plastic cd changer cover.

You can.

Please check the wiring in the door sill is exactly as per the diagram and post back on here when you have the amp gets the connection to the speakers from here. As mentioned, on the pre-facelift (which you have) its pretty easy to get the wiring wrong, which would mean no sound. In addition, if the CIC has been retrofitted and incorrectly coded, ie HIFI/BASE incorrect, that could be the issue as well.
