Angel Eyes - Outer sides no light

Hi all,

I recently installed this - which claims maximum wide light output due to its unique design.

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F233367653928

After I installed them the light on the inner eyes are perfect but the outer sides not a single bit is coming through.

I coded voltage to highest settings but no matter what... no light.

Anyone have any pointers to go from here?

Those lights are based off a design from about 6+ years ago and it was a pretty much failed design at the time. Those LED's are barely 1 watt of power and will product in total about 1/4 the light of even the stock halogen bulb. That is the reason why you cant see them. I would highly recommend returning those and going for a higher quality bulb.

The vendors here ( including ourselves) offer much better lights. The lights offered by us for example are well over 2x brighter than stock so they will be clearly visible in the daytime. Feel free to send a message over if you have any questions. We also have a vendor of our lights in Australia that you can buy from directly if you are interested to save you time and shipping costs.

Yea those are circa like 2007-2008. There are much better options available from vendors here but it will be more expensive but the price is justified because the output is significantly better.

I just had the same thing happen to me. Turns out the bulb wasn't in all the way. Try twisting it around while you have the lights on.

Thank you,

I managed to smack around the light bulb cavity until some (very little) light became to come through the outer side. That light is yellow compared to the new LED inner side.

Is that something to do with this type of bulb or is the inside housing glass going yellow?

I'll hit you up when I get off the phone app and get on the pc.

the outer rings are best to be viewed from farther back, 30 feet or so. They will never look the same when you look at them up close. The outer ring is also green since the LED's are simply not bright enough to fully illuminate them
