If I was going to buy headers again I would look at the condor speed shop ones. I have the AA which were the same price as the condor (like $800) but I like that the condor are USA made and the AA are likely sourced from China and just rebranded Ali Express headers lol

Can’t go wrong with Bob @ Stage_FP for tuning.

I would say the AA headers are the way to go. Although now that they are discontinued supersprint seems to also offer them. If you're going to get a tune though, I would recommend doing as many modifications as you can before the tune so you can really take advantage. (3 stage manifold & milvs)

I have a Bimmerlabs tune, but I've also heard Stage FP and Kassel are good too.

Supersprints ideally, but AA+reps are alright as long as the O2 sensors are placed correctly. Toss MILVS in there as well.

I gained 4.7 hp with Supersprint catless headers. Lighter line on the graph is with aFe headers with cats and tune by Korpet Racing, heavier line is with Supersprint.

I actually suspect Supersprint makes the best headers. I think they do the best job of actually engineering exhaust solutions vs many companies. The problem is at least here in the US their products are so damned expensive, like twice the price of name brand headers like Condor and AA. So you are paying a lot for those extra few HP.

If I had the money for SS at the time, I would've went with them… +1 on the post above. Pricy in comparison… But if you got it like that, go for it!

The real benefit of the Super Sprint is the near equal length runners that create a broader powerband, but peak power should be the same between all of them.
This benefit can be seen on the TheSt|G dyno. That Evolve tune was garbage though.

BudVlad,
Has your Supersprint system ever been sound-tested?

I went with the headers linked below, MILVS and capped it off with a stage FP tune last off season. I'm very happy with how everything turned out. Car really boogies now with these 3 mods.

No it wasn't but it's about the same as with aFe headers. I have Supersprint muffler and resonator.

I'm considering the full Supersprint system: catless headers, secondary cat delete, X-pipe resonator delete, and muffler.

Can you hear the engine note while wearing a helmet?

Not worth it. Do a good set of headers, and make a custom exhaust. Get an over sized 3” exhaust back.

I would suck the seller if I can find a properly designed catless exhaust manifold on taobao.com, the retail version of alibaba.

I’ve asked the catless manifold options in a wechat group dedicated for MT BMW drivers, which almost the most hard-core BMW modding community in China, and everyone is using imported header.

if someone expect to find a alibaba unbranded version and expect the same as a properly designed one, I’ve done this research for you: it doesn’t work. They certainly have agreements with the manufacturer to restrict the factory sell their design to other brand.
Just like Foxconn cannot sell rebranded iPhone.
