Coding Power Mirrors
2006 E90 330xi
Could not find answer to this question anywhere. The motor on the driver's side power mirror makes no noise/most likely dead and only the passenger side folds in and out when the door panel button is pressed. Is a straight plug in and go replacement from another pre-LCI e90 sufficient after disconnecting battery? Is any additional module programming necessary? There will of course be a need to calibrate the mirrors once it's operational. Thanks you all for your time! Last edited by Suvorovo; 02-08-2022 at 04:33 PM.. |

not always, you need to ensure that mirror assembly has same connector, 3-pin or 5-pin as your old assembly has

Assuming the replacement has the same exact pins as the original, is module programming necessary? Under what circumstance would programming be necessary?
