328i Automatic input shaft seal

I am so close to being ready to drop the newer set up into the car and while I have the motor and transmission separated I wanted to change the input shaft seal that's located behind the torque converter. Upon closer inspection, am I able to remove this seal like any other normal seal or do I need to remove the bell housing?

The reason I ask is because it looks like its pressed in from behind but I find that odd so I'm not 100% sure. I looked up videos on YouTube but could only find a older model and it didn't look similar.
